We have recommended before that as part of your online salon marketing plan, you should add your salon business details to as many reputable directories as possible. Research by Search Engine Optimization experts suggests that if you want to appear high up the rankings in Google local searches, it helps to have as many sites as possible referencing your business details. If they are as successful in the UK as they have been in the USA, Yelp is likely to become an important source of information for your potential salon customers.
