One way to draw attention to your salon promotions and advertising is to link them to current affairs and news that appeals to your customer-base. Back in June, we posted on the Salon Geek forums, suggesting that salon owners could tie-in their offers to the Olympics.
It’s not too late! Could you run a Gold, Silver and Bronze offer for your salon or spa this weekend? How about linking your promotion to whoever is in the Olympic news - in the UK, the swimmers and cyclists seem to be doing better than expected at the moment. Or what about Michael Phelps attempting to get 8 gold medals and set a new Olympic record? Get creative!
