If you haven’t already visited, have a look at the Salon Geek website. There’s a great, friendly and knowledgeable community of salon owners and staff. Mostly UK-based, but quite a few from other countries too. They have discussion forums, blogs, articles, tutorials and many other features - all salon-related (as the name suggests!)
Their forums cover the full spectrum of beauty salons, nail techs, and hair salons. Plus the “Biz Geek” forum on business issues, where there are often discussions around marketing, advertising, sales and promotions, amongst the other salon business-related threads.
